Media Education Summit 2010

09Sep10

Many thanks to CEMP (Centre for Excellence in Media Practice) for this year’s Media Education Summit.

The event, now in its third year, proved to again be a successful and thought provoking couple of days. Held at the Birmingham City University, Millenium Point it attracted delegates from across the UK and key notes from John Naughton (Open University), Kevin Marsh (BBC School of Journalism), Matt Locke (Channel 4) and Marc Prensky (American writer and academic).

Debbie Flint and myself, Stephen Mallinder, were able to contribute with a presentation that discussed the processes and outcomes of the ADM-OER Pilot Project and introduce the Phase 2 Practising Open Education Project.
