Art, Design, Media-Open Education Project 2009-10
The ADM-OER Project represents the art, design and media subject strand of the more extensive Open Educational Resources Project being undertaken by JISC and the Higher Education Academy. The project is being undertaken by the ADM Subject Centre in association with two specialist art, design and media institutions: University of the Arts London; and the University for the Creative Arts and one university faculty: the Faculty for the Arts, Cumbria University.
This 12 month pilot project aims to investigate the processes and policies that are required to secure a wide range of resources for access, use and repurpose through open digital repositories. It is the objective to develop and promote a body of knowledge, with practical guidelines, that will help support and sustain teaching and learning across higher education.
Members of the team, from ADM and the three institutions, will use this blog to report on the progress of the project and offer the art, design and media HE community the opportunity to input into the process through comments and observations.
