‘Can you use a Wikipedia model to write and edit books?’
A question posed by Dr Joanna Zylinska form the Department of Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Supported by the Art Design Media Subject Centre and Open Humanities Press the project’s has been in Dr. Zylinkska’s words “to develop an online, open access, customisable readerthat students co-create, with a view to replacing the photocopied ‘course reading pack’, which is typically designed by course leaders and handed out to students … It’s an experiment in producing academic knowledge differently in the age of Web 2.0:”
